Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Skincare Specialist to join our client within a private, community-focused pharmacy environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about skincare and personal care, looking to develop their knowledge and grow in a supportive setting.
As a Skincare Counter Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing skincare advice, assisting with product recommendations, and ensuring a welcoming experience at the counter.
Responsibilities- Enthusiastic, reliable and highly customer-focused, with a genuine interest in skincare and a strong desire to develop knowledge within medical-grade products.
- Confident supporting customers and practitioners, including aestheticians and clinic teams, by providing informed product guidance and recommending suitable solutions to drive sales and enhance treatment outcomes.
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach to identifying sales opportunities, building rapport and promoting product.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable consulting with both customers and industry professionals to understand their needs and deliver tailored recommendations.
- Previous retail or sales experience is advantageous but not essential - full training will be provided, including support to complete a Pharmacy Counter Assistant qualification.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn, grow and contribute to a high-performing team.
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-oriented with a passion for skincare.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, approachable attitude.
- Previous retail or sales experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Willingness to undertake training (pharmacy counter assistant course provided).
- Open to candidates returning to work or seeking a stable, customer-facing role.
- A genuine interest in learning about new products and helping customers.
