Assistant Merchandiser – Luxury Brands

Quest Search & Selection are currently recruiting for an Assistant Merchandiser for an established fashion & accessories retailer within a branded, luxury environment.

This omnichannel business is a well recognised brand within the UK and globally, currently stocking both own-label and branded products within a luxury/premium setting.

Key Responsibilities of this Assistant Merchandiser – Luxury Brands role:

• Identify trading actions from analysis of stock and sales data
• Own forward forecasting for continuity lines, proposing re-orders and stock management actions where required
• Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships through regular meetings and contact
• Work closely with brands to address slower-turning stock
• Identify, model, and propose promotional activity to the Merchandiser for approval
• Own the mid-season trading review to assist with selection buys
• Coach and develop an Allocator
• Undertake regular store visits to gather feedback from Retail colleagues

Key Requirements of this Assistant Merchandiser – Luxury Brands role:

• Experience working with branded product (highly desirable)
• Background within a department store, fashion, accessories, footwear, or handbags environment
• Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data
• Experience managing or mentoring an Allocator or MAA desirable but not essential
• Numerically strong, commercially minded, and a collaborative team player
