Gillespie Recruitment is thrilled to partner with a leading Well-Established Food Retailer. As part of their expansion, they’re recruiting a Butcher to join their dynamic team.

• Be a hands-on Butcher supporting the delivery of daily performance targets and orders.
• Examine the quality of finished product to ensure it meets the required standard.
• Wear PPE correctly, including ear protection.
• Support your area in delivering key performance targets by paying close attention to detail and following procedures.
• Act as a role model and lead by example, demonstrating core company values, behaviours and high-performance standards.

• Experience of butchery of multi-species.
• Able to plan the day and deliver key targets in your area.
• Positive, flexible and hardworking with a passionate commitment to quality.
• Support the delivery of all orders and key performance targets in your area and ensure attention to detail and that procedures are followed.
• Good manual dexterity, good eye and hand coordination, attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Able to carry out the physical tasks reasonably required.
• Able to work within a team and independently.
• Ability to work to deadlines and follow instructions and procedures accurately and consistently.
• Attention to detail and accuracy with all tasks.
• Experience of working within a factory environment and within food manufacturing.
