Paid role. We are a high-end bridal boutique in London, specializing in custom-made wedding gowns and accessories. We are currently seeking a Seamstress Assistant to join our team and assist our lead seamstress in creating beautiful and unique bridal garments.

• Assist the lead seamstress in all aspects of garment construction, including cutting, sewing, and finishing.
• Prepare and organize materials and supplies needed for each project.
• Take accurate measurements of clients and assist in fittings when required.
• Make alterations and adjustments to garments as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Keep up-to-date with current fashion trends and techniques in bridal wear.

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a bridal or high-end fashion environment.
• Excellent sewing skills and knowledge of garment construction.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for bridal fashion and a keen eye for design.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.
• Answer telephone enquiries on behalf of the Seamstress.
