Junior Buyer Footwear

Overview

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a junior buyer to join a statement-led footwear brand. The brand's concept is catwalk-inspired, trend-responsive and statement-led. Their vision is to always make the shoe a central part of the outfit. They're edgy, contemporary and confident.

This is a product development role, to work on the brand's own-branded product. Experience in footwear is highly desirable.

• Manage own category and trade the department.
• Oversee trend forecasting, product development, fit sessions, fabric sign-offs and supplier negotiation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing and suppliers to ensure product launches are met.
• Manage a buying admin assistant.

• Junior buyer with experience in footwear is highly desirable.
• Highly creative with strong trend forecasting to deliver a commercial range.
• Excellent supplier relationships to improve margins and profit growth for the product area.
• Highly organised with very high attention to detail.
