Role Overview

We are looking for an organised and commercially aware Merchandiser / Junior Merchandiser to join the Childrens Shoes team and deliver success in the concession spaces we run for department store partners. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their career in merchandising within a fast‑paced environment.

• Assist in the planning, forecasting, and trading of Luxury & Premium Branded product ranges to maximise sales and profit
• Review weekly sales, stock, and intake performance, identifying risks and opportunities
• Competently forecast at department, brand and line level as appropriate to manage stock, ensuring optimal availability while minimising markdown and overstock.
• Own key metrics including sell‑through, margin, and stock turn
• Work closely with Buying, Planning, Retail and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth product flow
• Provide recommendations for re‑buys, cancellations, RTVs
• Propose markdown and promotional activity to optimise stock clearance
• Maintain accurate data within systems and reports
• Assist in preparing trade packs and performance summaries for senior stakeholders. Confidently present mid‑season reviews and future season planning summaries

• Strong numerical and analytical skills

• Ability to interpret data and make commercial recommendations
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams
• A keen interest in Luxury/Branded retail, product, and current market trends

• Currently operating as either Merchandiser/Junior Merchandiser or experienced Assistant Merchandiser
• Degree (or equivalent) in Business, Fashion, Retail, or a related field preferred
