Shop Manager – Full Time
We are looking to recruit a new shop manager for our shop in Mitcham, Merton, Greater London. We offer a permanent full‑time position working a variety of shifts, 5 days from 7 each week.
Please note that for full‑time positions we will require you to be fully flexible in your availability for work throughout the week, including weekends.
Hours, Pay & Benefits- Hours:
45 hours across 5 days per week. - Pay: £39,889 – £48,343 per annum.

The salary offered for this position is between £39,889.20 and £48,343.08 on a 45‑hour contract.

- Lead by example, getting involved in all day‑to‑day tasks of running a busy shop.
- Motivate and inspire your team to run an efficient shop and provide great service to customers.
- Recruit, induct and develop your team through coaching, mentoring and feedback, and develop a talent pipeline for the business.
- Be fully accountable for the shop, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly and shop routines maintain a safe, clean and tidy environment.
- Control key shop costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll to achieve all KPIs, reporting directly to your area manager.
- Meet standards in customer service, cash handling, health & safety, stock management, merchandising and presentation.
- A friendly, positive, hardworking approach.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate people in a busy environment.
- A 'people person' who builds strong working relationships.
- Trustworthy and reliable, dependable at all times.
- Experience as a manager or assistant manager.
- A full driving licence is desirable. If you do not have one but meet other criteria, you are welcome to apply.
- Ability to complete an Employment Verification check and a Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check (Scotland) if successful.
