Role overview

We’re looking for a Flagship Store Manager to be the commercial, cultural, and operational leader of our most high‑profile retail location. This role sets the benchmark for service, presentation, and performance across the entire retail estate. Your responsibilities include delivering an exceptional customer experience, driving profitable growth, and developing a high‑performing team of managers, supervisors, and sales associates.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities Sales & Profitability Leadership
  • Own and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets for the flagship.
  • Analyse KPIs (conversion, ATV, UPT, footfall, category performance) to drive commercial decisions.
  • Lead daily floor walks and trade reviews, setting clear actions for the team.
  • Partner closely with Merchandising to manage stock flow, ensuring the flagship receives the right depth, size curves, and product mix.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of bestsellers, slow sellers, and emerging trends, using data and shop‑floor insight to influence allocation.
  • Quickly identify gaps, risks, and missed opportunities, reporting daily to Merchandising to drive action.
  • Provide proactive feedback on product performance, customer demand, and size availability to optimise sell‑through.
  • Ensure replenishment is timely and accurate, maximising availability of core and high‑demand styles.
Customer Experience & Clienteling
  • Set the gold standard for personalised, elevated customer experience.
  • Build long‑term relationships with VIPs, local communities, and brand advocates.
  • Lead the team in delivering a seamless, hospitality‑driven customer journey.
  • Resolve complex customer issues with professionalism and brand integrity.
  • Champion RIXO’s sustainability commitments and weave them into customer conversations.
  • Host and support in‑store events, styling sessions, and community activations.
People Leadership & Development
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a large, diverse team including Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Sales Associates.
  • Recruit and nurture talent, building a strong succession pipeline for the wider retail estate.
  • Deliver structured coaching, performance reviews, and development plans.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and high‑energy culture where everyone feels valued.
  • Ensure clear communication of goals, expectations, and brand values.
  • Manage scheduling to ensure optimal floor coverage and payroll efficiency.
Operational Excellence
  • Oversee all operational processes including cash handling, stock control, and compliance.
  • Maintain exceptional stockroom organisation and inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure all health & safety, environmental, and quality standards are met and exceeded.
  • Lead operational planning for peak periods, events, and new initiatives.
  • Ensure smooth communication with headquarters including Retail, Marketing, HR, and Stock/Finance.
Visual Merchandising & Brand Standards
  • Uphold the highest standards of visual presentation and brand identity.
  • Execute VM guidelines with precision while adapting to local trading needs.
  • Ensure the store environment is immaculate, inspiring, and commercially effective.
  • Monitor competitor activity and maintain strong market awareness.
Influencer & Press Collaboration
  • Partner with the Press & PR team to host influencer appointments, fittings, and content‑creation visits within the flagship.
  • Ensure the store environment, styling support, and product availability are optimised for influencer and press activity.
  • Brief the team on upcoming visits, ensuring seamless hospitality and brand‑aligned service.
  • Capture and share insights from influencer interactions to support PR, Marketing, and Merchandising strategies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Press partners, ensuring the flagship is a trusted, high‑impact space for brand storytelling.
