The Retail Sales Associate (RSA) is the ultimate guide through the guests’ shopping experience. Hard Rock merchandise is a unique part of our business, which requires a special person to create the experience. As an RSA, you will be a tour guide, communicator, entertainer, memorabilia curator, and musician (at heart).

• Greet guests and answer questions accurately and politely.
• Answer the phone and handle inquiries professionally.
• Make proficient sales transactions using a point‑of‑sale system.
• Handle cash and other forms of payment and maintain proper cash drawer balances.
• Direct guests to areas, restrooms, and product displays.
• Demonstrate impeccable product knowledge and engage guests in 1‑on‑1 conversations to determine their needs.
• Provide product information, features, and benefits.
• Use suggestive selling techniques, such as related items, higher‑quality items, and transitional phrases.
• Maintain a clean, organized store environment.
• Maintain proper product stock levels through retail pulls and inventories.
• Display retail products according to HRC’s visual display standards.
• Perform opening, closing, and side duties – including cleaning glass, polishing brass, sweeping and vacuuming the floor, folding product, and other required tasks.
• Assure the complete satisfaction of each guest and create memorable experiences.
• Entertain guests to create “Raving Fans.”

• Perform duties that require bending, reaching, lifting, and standing for long periods of time.
• Maintain a well‑groomed appearance and follow all uniform guidelines.
• Practice all safety and sanitation standards.
• Recycle products where possible.
• Remain calm in a hectic, fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrate a high level of organization, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
• Show a positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests.
• Adhere to HRC’s 5 core values and mission statement.
