For the opening of The West Dill Mayfair Hotel London, Colbert Collection, we are seeking a Financial Controller to who partners closely with hotel management, combining strategic thinking with a strong hands‑on approach. Working closely with hotel management, you will analyze performance, develop forecasts, drive efficiency initiatives and translate financial data into clear, value‑adding business decisions.
KeyDuties & Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic financial partner to the executive management team, supporting business decisions and long‑term planning
- Lead and coordinate the hotel’s budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
- Share responsibility for profitability, cost control and investment decisions, ensuring sustainable financial performance
- Analyze cost structures, staffing levels and inventory processes, identifying risks, efficiencies and improvement opportunities
- Actively support and train department heads in financial understanding, reporting and budget ownership
- Ensure accurate financial reporting, transparency and compliance with internal and external standards
- Maintain a strong hands‑on presence, balancing strategic oversight with operational involvement
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance role within the luxury hospitality sector
- Strong strategic mindset combined with excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Hands‑on, business‑oriented professional who thrives in small‑scale, high‑quality hotel environments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
- High level of initiative, ownership and a proactive approach to problem‑solving
- Strong team player with integrity, reliability and professionalism
