Sales Assistant – Wandsworth

This is a part‑time role working 21 hours a week on a 3‑month fixed‑term contract in a busy furniture store. The role requires flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.

• Engage with customers, providing exceptional service and promoting the charity’s mission.
• Organise and merchandise donated stock creatively to maximise sales potential.
• Collaborate with the E‑Commerce team to maximise online sales.
• Act as a keyholder, handling store operations when no manager is on duty (must be 18+).
• Assist with tills, organise donation bags and occasionally lift large pieces of furniture.

• Previous retail experience not essential; passion, energy and outstanding customer service are key.
• Comfortable working in a team and guiding volunteers on the shop floor.
• Ability to work well under pressure and take initiative in a fast‑paced environment.
• Attention to detail, positive, creative, confident and customer‑service focused.
• Tech‑savvy – comfortable with POS systems, PC, smartphone and email.
• Basic weight‑lifting ability (moving heavy donation bags).
