Assistant Counter Manager role supporting the Store Manager to lead, coach and develop the sales team to achieve sales, customer service and operational targets. The position is in a fast-paced retail environment and involves supervisory responsibilities, coaching, and store operations in prestige beauty.

• Deliver exceptional customer service and maximize sales performance and productivity
• Lead, coach and manage the team to achieve sales and service targets
• Communicate effectively and build collaborative relationships across departments and within the store
• Plan, organise and execute in-store events
• Manage stock, inventory and visual merchandising standards
• Maintain high standards of working environment and administrative tasks to a high standard
• Be aware of competitor activity and drive an omni-channel approach

• Proven retail management/assistant management experience, preferably in cosmetics
• Ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service
• Previous supervisory experience with a track record of coaching and mentoring others to achieve sales and service targets
• Retail operations experience including inventory management and cash reconciliation
• Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
