Retail Manager

We are currently recruiting for an established luxury beauty brand seeking a UK Retail Manager to drive sales performance, retail excellence, and customer experience across the UK market. This field-based position combines leadership, commercial strategy, and retailer relationship management, offering the opportunity to work closely with some of the industry’s leading premium retail partners.

Available through leading department stores and specialist beauty retailers, the business continues to grow its presence within the premium beauty sector.

As UK Retail Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales performance and executing the UK retail strategy across a network of premium retail partners. Reporting into the UK Account Manager, you will play a key role in supporting business growth through effective retail operations, team leadership, visual merchandising excellence, and strong retailer relationships. This is a highly visible field-based position requiring regular travel across the UK and close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Deliver the UK retail sales strategy and ensure commercial targets and KPIs are achieved.
• Monitor, analyse, and report on sales performance, identifying opportunities to drive growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partner management teams.
• Regularly travel across the retail estate to provide coaching, support, and commercial guidance.
• Inspire and develop retail teams through ongoing training, mentoring, and performance support.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
• Oversee retail execution of new product launches, promotional activity, and merchandising initiatives.
• Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained in line with brand expectations.
• Manage regional operational activities and proactively resolve issues affecting business performance.
• Work in partnership with internal training teams to support retail development initiatives.
• Allocate resources effectively to maximise retail coverage and commercial performance.
• Support recruitment activity and future talent planning across the retail network.
• Maintain clear communication with retail teams and internal stakeholders.
• Create a positive and collaborative working environment that encourages success and engagement.

• Experience managing multiple retail locations within a beauty, cosmetics, skincare, or fragrance environment.
• Strong commercial awareness with a proven ability to drive sales results.
• Background in premium beauty retail and retailer relationship management.
• Experience working with department stores and premium retail partners.
• Confident leading, coaching, and developing retail teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical abilities with experience interpreting sales data and performance metrics.
• Skilled in retail operations, visual merchandising, and customer experience delivery.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive problem-solver with strong organisational skills.
• High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office applications.
• Flexible approach and willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK.
