Production Coordinator

East London | Full Time | Fashion Wholesale

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Coordinator to join a leading womenswear supplier, designing and delivering trend-led collections for major high street and international retailers. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage the end-to-end production process across fast-paced womenswear collections, working closely with design, sales, buying, suppliers and warehouse teams to ensure products are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage purchase orders and production from order to delivery.
  • Track critical paths and production schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Liaise with design, sales, buying throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Approve fabrics, trims, colours and samples.
  • Coordinate the sampling process and manage incoming samples.
  • Build strong supplier relationships and negotiate lead times and costs.
  • Monitor margins, product information and shipping timelines.
  • Coordinate warehouse deliveries and maintain accurate system data.
  • Support customer accounts with product information and merchandising updates.
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience as a Production Coordinator, Production Merchandiser, or Assistant Merchandiser or similar within fashion.
  • Experience in womenswear fashion apparel production.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong Excel and systems knowledge.
  • Commercially aware, proactive, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
  • Experience working with overseas factories and suppliers.
  • Knowledge of fabrics, trims, garment construction and sampling.
  • Relevant qualification in Fashion, Merchandising or Business.
