Experteer Overview In this Senior Buyer role at ASOS, you will lead a cohesive, trend-led product range for the department, collaborating with Design, Merchandising and Technical teams to hit sales and profit targets. You'll translate customer insights and global trends into commercially strong ranges across womenswear and menswear, including own-brand and branded lines. You'll drive strategic planning, risk management, and cost initiatives while shaping the brand direction and ensuring alignment with sustainability and integrity principles.
You will lead a team, build supplier relationships, and partner with Marketing and Sourcing to maximize impact. Pay / Benefits

- Develop a cohesive, gap-free range aligned to brand strategy and seasonal plans
- Collaborate with Design to shape product direction and ensure brand/divisional alignment
- Deliver department KPIs for margin and profit; identify and mitigate risks with Merchandising
- Anticipate customer needs using sales and trend data to deliver commercial ranges
- Trade by identifying gaps and opportunities to optimise dept performance and manage risk
- Maintain knowledge of planning/trading documents to inform category analysis and evolution
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and improve cost efficiency
- Range building considering ALB strategy and global requirements with season-to-season flexibility
- Foster cross-functional partnerships (Merchandising, Marketing, Sourcing) and maintain strong supplier networks
- Lead and develop ABs and BAs, providing direction, training, and momentum for talent growth
- Stay abreast of global trends and competitor activity; integrate sustainability and Fashion with Integrity principles
- Identify promotional opportunities with Marketing and set up trialling calendars
- Significant experience as a Junior Buyer/Buyer in a fast-paced global retailer
- Creative and commercial thinking with a strong fashion-trend awareness
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills; ability to gain buy-in from teams
- Commercial mindset using data and insights to drive department outcomes
- In-depth knowledge of planning and trading documents; ability to challenge figures
- Ability to leverage market insights and global context for decision making
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to build internal and supplier relationships
- Inclusive leadership style with capability to develop a team and communicate clearly
- Strong prioritisation and systems skills; familiarity with trading systems and MS Office
