The Role

We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to take ownership of a Household category within a leading retail business. You'll be responsible for driving sales, profitability and stock performance through effective planning, forecasting and commercial analysis.

Working closely with Buying, Retail, Logistics and international stakeholders, you'll influence range decisions, identify trading opportunities and ensure stock is managed effectively across the business.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and manage seasonal range plans to achieve sales and profit targets.

* Analyse sales performance, market trends and customer insights to support commercial decisions.

* Forecast sales, stock, intake and markdown activity.

* Manage product ordering and supplier relationships.

* Monitor trading performance and implement actions to improve results.

* Ensure strong stock availability and effective inventory management.

* Work closely with Logistics, Retail and Visual Merchandising teams to support product launches and trading priorities.

* Support and mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements.

About You

* Previous Merchandiser experience within a retail environment.

* Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability.

* Commercially minded with excellent numerical skills.

* Strong planning, organisation and communication skills.

* Proactive, detail-oriented and confident managing multiple priorities.

* Able to build strong relationships across teams and stakeholders.
