Full-Time Shop Assistant Italian Delicatessen | Holland Park

The Role

The successful candidate will play an important part in the day-to-day running of the shop and will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while helping to keep the store organised, clean and running efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

• Welcoming and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Handling customer orders, including preparing and organising daily orders
• Serving customers and providing knowledge about our products where required
• Receiving deliveries and putting stock away correctly
• Checking stock levels and helping with stock rotation
• Assisting with regular inventory and stock counts
• Ensuring products are correctly labelled, stored and displayed
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation throughout the shop
• Following allfood safety, health & safety and hygiene procedures
• Monitoring and recording food temperatures where required
• Assisting with opening and closing the shop
