Inventory Control & Analysis, Supply Chain & Logistics, Office Administrator/ Coordinator, Business Administration
Our client is a boutique, design-led pet product business specializing in high-quality gifts, toys, and accessories for pets. Supplying major retail accounts - including Sainsbury's and B&M - this small, energetic team is expanding and looking for a commercially minded operator to manage stock, logistics, and margins. This is a hands-on, multi-faceted operational position within an existing tight-knit team of two.
You won't just be entering data; you will own the end-to-end order processing lifecycle, maintain accurate stock records, monitor product margins, and liaise with factories and retail client portals. Our client is looking for someone who loves getting stuck in, feeling part of a team and having accountability for their work.
- Order Management & Logistics:
Process incoming customer orders, input data into Xero, submit orders to factories, confirm production schedules, track shipments, secure Proof of Delivery (POD), and issue final invoices. - Portal Management:
Administration of major retail client supplier portals (e.g., B&M, Sainsbury's). - Stock & Financial Analysis:
Run margin calculations and profitability models (e.g., calculating projected profits on new stock runs) using Excel. - Inventory Control:
Monitor stock levels and keep inventory counts reconciled.
- Strong working knowledge of Xero and advanced Excel skills.
- Background as an AAT Bookkeeper, Assistant Accountant, or Operations Coordinator with a strong numbers focus.
- Proven experience handling physical stock, supply chain logistics, and cost/margin analysis (this is an experienced operational role, not a entry-level Buyer’s Assistant position).
- Adaptable, multi-tasking mindset ready to step up as a vital third team member.
