Shift Leader - Union Shop

The Union Shop team at KCLSU are looking for a Shift Leader to take charge of daily shop operation, acting as the manager on duty in our dynamic, bustling retail space. As part of this, you will:

• Assist in supporting high team morale and our positive work environment
• Support our delivery of a strong sales performance
• Provide excellent customer service, which is prompt, helpful and friendly
• Contribute to efficient day-to-day functioning, throughout the store

To be eligible for this role, you must:

• Be an enrolled or incoming King's College London student
• Be eligible to work in the UK, and provide proof of this (i.e. a passport / visa) when asked by KCLSU. Please note that KCLSU is unable to offer visa sponsorship
• Have a National Insurance number, or be in the process of applying for one
• Not be a trustee of King's College London Students' Union
• Be available to work during The Union Shop operating hours, 10am to 6pm from Monday to Friday (with increased hours over graduation periods).

£16.95 per hour (plus 12.07% holiday pay which equates to £18.99 for every hour worked)

You will be contracted to 4 hours per week during term time. Additional hours may be available from time to time (especially during graduation periods) but are not guaranteed. Operating hours are Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm, and you will need to be available to work during these times.
