Assistant Store Manager – Convenience Retail Brixton, South London | Up to £35,000 basic  benefits We’re looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join a well-established international convenience retail brand in Brixton. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being on the shop floor, leading a team and making sure the store is running properly day to day.

You’ll work closely with the Store Manager and play a key part in driving standards, sales and customer service. The role As Assistant Store Manager, you’ll be involved in all aspects of running the store, including:
Supporting and motivating the team on a daily basis Helping to drive sales and achieve store targets Maintaining excellent customer service and store standards Managing stock, deliveries and availability Supporting with rotas, training and team development Taking responsibility for the store in the Store Manager’s absence Making sure company procedures around cash, security and compliance are followed What we’re looking for You’ll ideally have previous experience in convenience, grocery, supermarket or high-volume retail , with experience supervising or managing a team.

Confident leading a team and setting the right example Commercially aware and comfortable working to targets Customer-focused and hands-on Organised, reliable and able to work at pace Keen to develop and progress within a growing international business You don’t need to have worked for a major supermarket chain — the right attitude, leadership experience and retail background are just as important.
