Ready to be part of a busy retail and café team? Join Sodexo as a Retail & Café Assistant and help create a welcoming experience for every customer, from serving great food and drinks to keeping the café and retail area running smoothly. You’ll be hands-on, friendly and customer-focused, supporting your team to deliver excellent service while maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness and presentation.

• Deliver friendly, welcoming and efficient customer service
• Operate tills accurately and handle customer transactions with confidence
• Receive deliveries, replenish stock and ensure products are correctly rotated
• Support promotions and loyalty initiatives to help drive customer engagement
• Keep the retail and café areas clean, tidy and inviting
• Follow food safety, hygiene and responsible retailing standards, including checking  required

• You must be 18 or over to sell age-restricted products
• Retail experience is a bonus, but not essential — full training will be provided
• Commercial awareness and a focus on supporting store performance
• A willingness to learn about our products and confidently share your knowledge with customers
• Confidence using digital systems, tills and store applications
• A customer-first approach, with the ability to recognise opportunities and respond to customer needs
• A flexible, positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
