London | Hybrid - 3 days office

Up to £65k + generous bonus potential

I'm working exclusively with an established and successful retail brand looking for an experienced Ecommerce Trading Manager to join its team.

This is a business with a lot happening! Continued investment, ambitious plans for the coming years and plenty of opportunities to bring new ideas and make an impact.

You'll be joining a creative, collaborative business with a great culture, approachable leadership and a real openness to new ideas. They're looking for someone commercially minded, passionate about retail and excited by the opportunity to help shape what's next for ecommerce.

Why this role is exciting
  • Established, successful retail brand with strong commercial performance, continued investment and exciting plans for the future
  • A business going through change - with ambitious plans for the next few years and plenty of opportunities to influence how ecommerce develops
  • Great leadership and culture - approachable, experienced leaders who listen to ideas, encourage collaboration and give people the opportunity to make an impact
  • Creative, people-focused environment - a sociable, non-corporate culture with regular events, team initiatives and a real focus on bringing people together
  • Work with talented teams across the business - from ecommerce and digital marketing to creative, content, UX, buying and merchandising
  • Broad commercial exposure - the opportunity to get involved beyond trading, bringing ideas across customer experience, optimisation and digital performance
  • Opportunity to make your mark - lead a small team, influence decisions and play an important role in the next stage of the business's ecommerce journey
What you'll be doing
  • Own the day-to-day trading performance across the ecommerce websites
  • Manage trading plans, forecasts and key commercial KPIs
  • Identify opportunities to improve revenue, conversion, AOV and overall site performance
  • Drive onsite merchandising, product positioning, promotions and trading activity
  • Work closely with digital marketing, optimisation, creative, buying and merchandising teams
  • Use data, customer behaviour and competitor insight to identify opportunities and bring new ideas
  • Lead and develop a small team of two
What we're looking for
  • Strong ecommerce trading experience, ideally within retail
  • Commercially driven, with a proven track record of delivering revenue and trading targets
  • Confident with numbers, forecasting, reporting and ecommerce KPIs
  • Good understanding of onsite merchandising, CRO and wider ecommerce performance
  • Experience managing a small team and working with senior stakeholders
  • Someone with ideas, energy and personality who enjoys working collaboratively
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail - comfortable working at pace and adapting to changing priorities
  • A genuine passion for retail, with an interest in how technology, customer behaviour and new ideas can improve ecommerce performance
