Retail & Store Manager
I’m working with a premium swimwear brand to find a strong Assistant Store Manager for their London boutique.
This is a small, close-knit store of around 10 people, so I’m looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being on the shop floor and leading by example.
While you’ll support with the day-to-day running of the boutique, this isn’t a role with heavy people-management responsibilities. You’ll essentially act as asenior presence on the floor – driving your own sales, delivering great service, supporting the team and stepping up operationally when needed.
What the role will involve:Leading from the front and remaining heavily involved in selling
Building strong client relationships and driving repeat business
Supporting the team through example rather than formal management
Opening and closing the boutique and acting as a keyholder
Completing daily/weekly reporting and supporting with store administration
Maintaining strong VM and operational standards
Supporting the Store Manager with the smooth day-to-day running of the boutique
Taking ownership of the floor when the Store Manager is absent
Ideally, you’ll already be operating at Assistant Store Manager level within a premium or accessible luxury fashion brand, preferably within a smaller boutique or similarly sized team.
You’ll be commercial, energetic and confident with clients, but most importantly, you’ll be someone who still loves selling. This would suit an ASM who doesn’t need a large team or lots of formal management responsibility to feel progression – you’re happy being hands-on, taking ownership and setting the standard through your own performance.
A great opportunity for someone who enjoys the pace and personality of a smaller premium fashion environment and wants to be a key part of the store rather than removed from the shop floor.
