Tailoring Specialist - UNIQLO Covent Garden

We are assembling a team of high-quality casual clothing enthusiasts with experience in tailoring or customising clothes to join our growing team!

Contract:

Permanent – Full time, 37.5h per week – Shift pattern: 8.5 hour shifts per day including 1-hour unpaid meal break. Applicants must be flexible to work both morning and late shift patterns. Full weekend availability is required.

• Welcome every customer with a friendly smile
• Provide exceptional service on all occasions
• Advise customers across all product categories
• RE.UNIQLO Tailoring services - consultation with customers, fitting on customers, provide tailoring on trousers, skirts, shirts and jackets (include fixing or replacing zippers)
• RE.UNIQLO Embroidery services - consultation with customers, working on embroidery machine and create customers' desired embroidery outcomes
• RE.UNIQLO Repair services - consultation with customers, provide the best choices from our repair service to customers' old clothes
• RE.UNIQLO Sashiko services - consultation with customers, on a bespoke sashiko hand embroidered order on UNIQLO items.
• Clearly understanding alteration or repair requirements with customers to ensure that their requirements are met
• Understand and follow policies and procedures to ensure a smooth operation and minimise loss
• Collaborate enthusiastically with all team members and offer to support them when needed to form a united high performing team
• Relay the voice of customers about products and services to company management to continue to make our business relevant for the customers of today and tomorrow
• Keep back of house areas organised and tidy
• Participate in all activities contributing to the overall store experience and objectives

• Have experience 3+ years in machine and hand sewing
• A bias for team working
• Excellent communication skills
• Perfect time management skills
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and processes quickly
• Personable and service-focused
• A professional, positive approach at all times
• A drive to achieve results individually and as a team
• An enthusiasm for UNIQLO brand values and products
• Keen to build a career in retail
• Previous retail experience is a bonus, but not essential
