Role SummaryWe are currently on the search for an Account Executive to join our Life Sciences sales team. You will be responsible for driving new business growth within the life sciences sector by identifying, engaging, and closing opportunities with biotech, pharmaceutical, and research organizations. This role requires a consultative sales approach, leveraging our innovation intelligence platform to help clients accelerate R&D, navigate IP landscapes, and bring products to market faster.
You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiation and deal closure, collaborating closely with marketing, SDRs, and account management teams to drive revenue.
This is a hybrid position in our London, UK office. The role offers the option to work hybrid throughout the week (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays mandatory) or fully in office.
What You’ll Be Doing- Analyze your territory and convert opportunities into growth.
- Exceed sales targets and KPIs consistently.
- Manage and convert the pipeline with accurate reporting.
- Prospect through various channels and convert leads into opportunities.
- Effectively handle sales processes via phone, Zoom, and in‑person interactions.
- Develop a strong understanding of Patsnap’s offerings and the evolving IP service/software industry.
- Possess strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Have a proven track record of exceeding targets.
- Have 1+ year(s) of 360° sales experience and solution sales training.
- Successfully engaged senior stakeholders and managed complex sales processes.
- Have a background in life sciences education or sales experience (plus).
- Have experience in the innovation/IP solutions industry; additional language proficiency (plus).
- Five weeks of annual leave + bank holidays.
