THE ROLE
As CRM Sales Specialist you will take ownership of driving business development activity from London, with a focus on engaging institutional clients, cross-commodity funds and industry associations. The role combines client acquisition and relationship management with strategic commercial initiatives, positioning FIS for growth in new markets and strengthening its profile across the industry. It will utilise our internal CRM system and relationships to find new business, as well as cross‑selling our services to existing customers.
Keyresponsibilities
- Develop and execute CRM campaigns to drive engagement, retention and revenue
- Promote FIS bespoke products, with the primary goal of acquiring new clients
- Enhance and build strong working relationships with prospects, cross‑selling to our existing client base
- Build a pipeline of new business, maintain reports and communications through our CRM
- Conduct regional market analysis in order to establish the main point of competitive advantage, keeping abreast of competitive environment and trends to ensure FIS maintains place as market leader
- Proactively source and develop new clients, identify client requirements, and provide presentations/demonstrations to qualified leads
- Assist in setting new clients on boarded, working with relevant internal colleagues to make this process as quick as possible and helping clients understand their requirements
- Capture feedback from market players, sharing this internally to help improve systems and processes
- Assist with projects to work on sales strategy and product roadmap
- Provide reports on sales activity as required by management team
- Support a risk and compliance aware culture and comply with FIS company policies
- Significant travel may be required as an integral part of the role
- Maintain awareness of evolving regulation and market standards.
- Exercise judgement and act with integrity, due care, skill and diligence and open and co‑operative with the NFA other regulators and exchanges.
- Ensure full awareness of and adhere to internal policies that relate to the role or any relevant other activities.
- Observe standards of market conduct and ensure understanding and adherence to all regulatory, exchange or clearing house requirements applicable to role.
- Regular management feedback to ensure meet requirements.
- Complete any mandatory training required by the company and required deadlines.
- Maintain own Continued Professional Development (CPD).
- Knowledge of all FIS products and markets; sound knowledge of derivatives as well as underlying markets in general.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- High, positive energy and ability to orchestrate a variety of client activities including on site demos, webinars, calls etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and numerical skills.
- Ability to multi‑task and manage time effectively; manages expectations.
- Proven ability to engage and build relationships with institutional clients.
