Internal Business Development Manager / Office Based BDM
About the CompanyA fantastic opportunity is available for a sales driven financial services professional to join our client, a growing specialist finance provider with a “can do” approach to lending.
About the RoleThe role would suit an existing Telephone / Internal BDM or a Mortgage Broker with experience of BTL and / or Bridging Finance products. The role is office based, building strong, long‑term relationships with mortgage intermediaries across the UK. Acting as a trusted point of contact, you’ll help brokers identify, progress, and convert lending opportunities while championing our client’s products and services.
You will also have the opportunity to attend roadshow events and broker meetings.
- Proactively contact and manage a panel of intermediaries (Mortgage Brokers / Finance Brokers)
- Carry out business fact‑finds and understand broker goals and behaviours
- Identify and maximise new and existing business opportunities
- Educate brokers on buy‑to‑let and bridging solutions
- Support enquiries, referrals, and portal usage compliantly
- Maintain strong market and product knowledge
- Represent the business professionally across calls, meetings, and social media content
- Sales experience within financial services (broker or lender side sales)
- Strong relationship‑building and opportunity‑spotting skills
- Highly organised, self‑motivated, and customer‑focused
Up to £40k Basic + Benefits (Dependent on experience)
