New Business + Network Development

Reports to: Head of Events & Head of Venue Sales

Location: The Truman Brewery, 15 Hanbury Street, London E1 6QR

Contract Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm (some flexibility required)

Role Overview

The Truman Brewery is recruiting a commercially minded New Business Developer to grow our client base, reach new verticals, and activate relationships across brand, agency, and cultural sectors.

You’ll work within the venue sales events team to connect with prospects and bring in bookings for one of London’s most iconic creative estates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development
  • Identify and approach new leads
  • Proactively contact potential clients across key sectors
  • Set up venue tours and meetings
  • Represent Truman at events, launches, and exhibitions
  • Support outbound sales campaigns
  • Relationship Building
  • Grow and maintain a strong contact network
  • Manage relationships with agencies, brands, producers and creatives
  • Maintain accurate contact records and outreach logs
  • Internal Collaboration
  • Work with the Venue Sales team to hand over warm leads
  • Share insights with team leaders
  • Coordinate on client expectations with Ops
Candidate Profile
  • Character: Confident, social and proactive
  • Experience: Background in business development, creative sales or partnerships
  • Network: Active relationships in brand, events or culture sectors a plus
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication
  • Tools: Comfortable with email, spreadsheets, CRM and research
Terms Of Employment
  • Hours: Full-time, 9am–6pm, Monday to Friday
  • Trial period: 6 months
  • Flexibility: Some evening or weekend work will be required at times
