A London based renewable energy IPP are seeking a Renewable Sales Consultant to join their commercial team. As Renewable Sales Consultant you will become a trusted advisor to potential clients, and will play a pivotal role in building new business and existing customer relationships.
This is a great opportunity for a renewable energy enthusiast with the drive and ambition and confidence to identify and engage with new client prospects. You will initiate discussions with board level decision makers for major businesses across the UK, and convert them into long term partnerships.
You'll be fully supported by the wider commercial team to become a trusted expert for our client's ever growing customer base.
Responsibilities- Source and qualify new business opportunities with big energy users
- Engage with board level decision makers
- Gather energy and operational data from prospects to understand their needs
- Conduct assessments of sites to determine suitability
- Cultivate long term relationships with current and future partners
- Report on lead generation and KPIs on a regular basis
- Experience in a client facing role in the green energy / environmental / sustainability / cleantech space
- 2+ years experience in a business development / sales capacity
- 2+ years experience and proven track record in selling and closing deals within a solution based sales environment
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK without the need for sponsorship
- University Degree qualified
