Introduction

Bavarian Nordic, a global vaccine manufacturer headquartered in Denmark, made a highly successful entry into the UK market in January 2025. As a new key player in the travel vaccine sector, we rapidly established ourselves in the UK by introducing our renowned legacy vaccine portfolio to hundreds of customers across the country. This achievement positioned us as a trusted partner for retail pharmacists, travel health specialists, private GPs, and NHS practitioners providing private vaccination services.

In addition to the legacy brands, we marked a significant milestone with the successful introduction of a brand‑new chikungunya vaccine. This innovative product launch not only expanded our travel vaccine offering but also set the stage for long‑term growth and leadership in the UK market. On the global stage, we continue to play a crucial role in public health, notably through the manufacture and distribution of our Mpox vaccine to address outbreaks in Africa.

A significant portion of our key accounts are in the London area; hence, your location should be in or within a reasonable distance of the Capital / M25.

You will work cross‑functionally, collaborating closely with members of the BNUK Commercial team, the Marketing team, and the Head of Medical Affairs. You will report to the UK Country Director.

About the UK Team

You will join a close‑knit, high‑performing team at Bavarian Nordic UK, where Commercial, Marketing and Medical colleagues work side by side to make a real difference for patients. The team places strong emphasis on autonomy, accountability, and ownership, enabling each member to contribute independently while collectively creating meaningful, value‑driven solutions for our customers.

Key Requirements
  • Minimum five years’ experience in vaccine sales, preferably with exposure to pharmacists, retail pharmacy, and private medical providers.

  • ABPI qualification.
Qualities and Traits

As a person, you are proactive and comfortable taking ownership in a fast‑paced, growing organisation. You bring a structured and organised way of working, while remaining adaptable as priorities evolve. You work independently with confidence, thrive in a small and collaborative team environment, and are a strong networker who builds trusted, long‑term relationships both internally and externally. This is a hybrid role, suited for someone who enjoys working remotely while engaging with customers both virtually and in person.
