Role Purpose

The Business Development Analyst role is an outbound-led position with a strong analytical and relationship-driven mindset.

This role focuses on understanding how dealers operate, the systems and partners they work with, and how Auto Grab fits into a broader, long-term dealer ecosystem. Rather than positioning Auto Grab as a point solution, the role is about building credibility through insight, research and informed engagement.

It is well suited to someone who enjoys structured outreach, mapping processes, and developing a deep understanding of technology, systems and data flows.

Key Responsibilities Market & Prospect Insight
  • Research dealer technology stacks, data flows and partner relationships
  • Develop a strong understanding of dealer operations and dependencies
  • Build and maintain detailed prospect and account intelligence
  • Engage prospects through informed, personalised and relevant outreach
  • Position Auto Grab as part of a wider dealer ecosystem rather than a standalone tool
  • Hold consultative conversations focused on long-term value and partnership
Product & Feedback Loop
  • Work closely with Product to understand current capabilities and roadmap
  • Feed structured market insight back into Sales and Product teams
  • Help align dealer needs with product direction and future opportunities
  • Maintain accurate, structured CRM records including outreach, insights and pipeline data
  • Support reporting and visibility across the sales funnel

  • High-quality prospect conversations built on credibility and insight
  • Prospects viewing Auto Grab as a potential long-term partner
  • Clear understanding of dealer systems, dependencies and opportunities
  • Strong alignment between dealer needs, product capability and roadmap
Experience & Profile
  • Experience in automotive, automotive technology or SaaS preferred
  • Strong analytical mindset with interest in systems and data flows
  • Comfortable with outbound activity while prioritising quality over volume
  • Confident communicator able to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Highly organised with strong CRM discipline
  • Naturally curious, consultative and commercially aware
