We are now looking for an experienced Sales Manager with a commercially grounded approach, focused on partnerships, performance, and long‑term growth in the UK market.

This is a senior role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, structure, and execution — and who knows how to turn opportunities into measurable results.

The Role

As our new Sales Manager, you will oversee Rains’ wholesale accounts managed from London and lead the development and execution of our wholesale business in collaboration with our Sales Director. You will help shape strategies, build strong relationships, and ensure that our sales execution supports both brand ambitions and commercial goals.

You thrive in a dynamic environment, work independently while staying aligned with the team, and bring structure to complex sales processes.

Your Overall Responsibilities

Account Management

  • Own the end‑to‑end sales journey for wholesale accounts.
  • Act as primary point of contact for key accounts.
  • Build long‑term partnerships and secure sales and brand targets.
  • Monitor sell‑through and drive performance.
  • Identify new prospects and opportunities within the region.
  • Negotiate commercial terms.
  • Conduct sales appointments and staff training sessions.

Cross‑Functional Execution

  • Co‑ordinate closely with Logistics and Finance to ensure all administrative account‑management tasks are undertaken to a high standard.
  • Manage the showroom appointments calendar in coordination with the local team.
  • Manage the travel calendar to execute staff trainings and store visits in coordination with the local team.
  • Initiate strong analysis on sales and progress to ensure transparency for management.
  • Drive improvements and bring ideas into action through a practical, structured approach.
The Ideal Profile

You combine strategic thinking with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. You take initiative and move comfortably between planning and day‑to‑day sales execution. You challenge processes constructively and bring clarity and direction to the team.

We imagine you bring:

  • 3–5 years’ experience within sales and account management
  • Experience working with large‑scale fashion retailers and independents in the UK and Ireland.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship‑building skills
  • High level of organization and ability to manage several processes at once
  • Ability to translate insights into structured actions
  • A curious mindset and a desire to help shape Rains’ future growth
  • Genuine conviction and belief in Rains’ product universe
  • Fluent written and spoken English

Frequent travel to meet wholesale accounts and attend sales appointments should be expected.
