Corel is hiring a Business Development Representative to support our Parallels team.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys outbound sales. Someone who isn’t afraid to pick up the phone, start conversations from scratch, and turn curiosity into real pipeline. If you like hunting for opportunities, running discovery calls, and showing prospects how a product actually works, this could be a great fit.

You’ll be the first point of contact for many of our future customers. That means researching accounts, reaching out in thoughtful, personalized ways, asking good questions, and confidently demoing Parallels early in the sales process. Persistence matters here, so does being smart about how and where you spend your time.

As a Business Development Representative, You Will
  • Prospecting into mid-market end-user companies through a mix of cold calling, email, and Linked In
  • Owning outbound activity and building pipeline from scratch
  • Running discovery conversations and giving live product demos when it makes sense
  • Hosting or participating in Linked In Live sessions, webinars, or similar events
  • Researching accounts and buyers so outreach is relevant, not generic
  • Following up consistently and professionally, because most deals don’t start with a first touch
  • Working closely with Account Executives to hand off well-qualified opportunities
  • Collaborating with marketing, sales engineering, and the wider sales team to improve messaging and targeting
  • Keeping CRM activity and notes clean and up to date
  • Profile (ICP).
What YOU Bring To The Team
  • Around 2 years of experience in a BDR/SDR or similar outbound sales role
  • Comfortable making cold calls and having real conversations with buyers
  • Curious, resilient, and not easily discouraged by “no” or silence
  • Confident presenting to others, including live demos and public-facing formats like Linked In Live
  • A consultative mindset! You care about understanding problems before pitching solutions
  • Organized, data-aware, and thoughtful about how you personalize outreach
  • A proactive team player who wants to grow in B2B tech sales
