Regional Strategic Sales Manager, Hospitality Cloud

We have an exciting opportunity for a senior sales professional whose main responsibilities will be managing corporate Director and VP-level relationships with our hotel chain and management company partners, identifying business development opportunities, carrying a new‑booked business and renewal quota, demonstrating solution‑selling and total account management skills, and effectively managing your Sales Development Representative. The goal is to grow overall partnerships and increase Cvent's market share of clients' organizational spend.

This Role, You Will
  • Develop current relationships and identify new contacts to meet and exceed revenue expectations.
  • Create and pursue a targeted list of Key Accounts and develop individual plans.
  • Travel up to 30% to represent Cvent at trade shows, host seminars, or attend client meetings.
  • Manage personal revenue pipeline to maximize new business opportunities.
  • Exceed new business revenue and renewal targets for advertising‑based and software sales.
  • Analyze performance data and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Navigate needs of multiple stakeholders within Key Accounts.
  • Work with property‑level sales teams and other departments to ensure satisfaction.
  • Mentor a Sales Associate supporting these activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Here’s What You Need
  • University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to speak & write German to a business standard.
  • Extensive experience selling to and managing hotel accounts at the corporate level.
  • Familiarity with high outbound call volume and high talk time sales environment.
  • Passion for technology and digital marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to integrate knowledge from prospecting, consultative selling, product demos, contract negotiations, operations, and product functions.
  • Strong sense of initiative and personal leadership demonstrating independence while contributing to team initiatives.
