My client is a leading multi:temperature wholesale organisation with a fantastic reputation across the UK.

They are seeking a National Account Manager to join their team. The successful National Account Manager will be responsible for identifying, securing, and onboarding new high-value national and multi-site customers across food service, education, healthcare and public sector channels. This is a high-impact, commercially focused role for someone who thrives on opening doors, building long-term partnerships, and turning opportunities into sustainable revenue.

This is the perfect role for a high performing Key Account Manager or National Account Manager looking to join an exciting business who can match their ambition and offer genuine career progression opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively targeting and winning new national and multi-site customers across food service, education, healthcare and public sector channels.
  • Managing the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiation, and contract close
  • Developing tailored commercial proposals, pricing structures, and service solutions
  • Leading customer onboarding and implementation alongside operations, supply chain, and customer service
  • Building strong senior-level relationships with decision-makers
  • Delivering agreed new business revenue and margin targets
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM reporting
  • Keeping close to market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
The Ideal National Account Manager Candidate
  • Proven experience winning new business at national or multi-site level
  • Background in food service wholesale, manufacturing, or distribution
  • Strong negotiation and commercial skills
  • Ability to influence at senior stakeholder level
  • A self-starter mentality with high energy and resilience
  • Excellent planning, presentation, and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel nationally as required
