This company is a rapidly growing protective sportswear brand, specializing in the world's first netball shoes with patent-pending Anklefort technology designed to prevent ankle rolling. Following strong national growth, we are expanding our presence across Surrey and the South East through clubs, schools, and retail partnerships, and are looking for a confident, commercially minded, and sport-focused Sales Executive to deliver meaningful revenue and build long-lasting relationships across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Manage your own diary, outreach and weekly pipeline
- Produce quarterly activity and performance reports to track impact against targets
- Plan and conduct netball club visits.
- Deliver engaging product demos and presentations.
- Promote group discounts and drive on-site sales conversion.
- Follow up to secure orders and maintain sample shoes.
- Connect with schools to book and deliver the 'Sustainable Athlete' program.
- Secure retail partnerships with school shops and online retailers.
- Follow up with schools to secure orders.
- Identify and approach local independent sportswear stores, running shops, and podiatry and physiotherapy clinics.
- Conduct research, prepare proposals, and deliver product presentations highlighting Anklefort technology.
- Negotiate stocking agreements, wholesale terms, and display arrangements.
- Provide retail partners with product samples, marketing materials, and training.
- Build long-term relationships with clinic and store owners.
- Represent the company at netball events, tournaments, and community gatherings.
- Set up and manage product displays.
- Engage with athletes, coaches, and parents to promote the brand.
- Proven sales experience in a commercial, retail, sports or field-based role. Demonstrated ability to convert leads into revenue.
- A genuine passion for sports, particularly netball, with an understanding of athlete needs and product benefits.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently, manage a territory effectively, and confidently represent the brand.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the region.
- Willingness and availability to work evenings and weekends to attend club training sessions, school events, tournaments, and community gatherings.
- Experience in sports industry sales or performance footwear.
- Background or qualifications in business, marketing, or sports management.
- Experience giving keynotes, running workshops, or presenting to groups.
