The Role
Mishcon de Reya has a strong track record of investing in advertising and high-profile brand partnerships; generating thought-leadership in the form of publications, events, blogs and social media campaigns and social media campaigns. The Campaign Sales team has been created to bring that same culture of excellence to the way we follow-up and nurture sales relationships with the resulting leads.
We understand the importance of creating a best-in-class organisation that connects marketing with sales to drive business growth through new client acquisition. Our Campaign Sales team work closely with Fee Earners, BD teams and Knowledge Lawyers across the firm to identify campaign opportunities and provide a strategic function to support the growth of the firm.
The Individual
You will be a high-energy, organised and motivated individual, aware of your part in defining the role of sales within the Firm. You will be able to build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships, have good attention to detail, and possess excellent communication skills.
You will prospect for and manage a continuous flow of leads, serve as the first point of contact for new client relationships, and be excited at the opportunities that will be available to you as a hire into our expanding team. Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will report into the Senior Digital Campaigns Manager, working alongside the Campaign Sales and wider Business Development team. You will contribute to creating a best-in-class organisation that connects marketing with sales to drive business growth and new client acquisition.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of our services, products, target client personas and the firm's strategic growth priorities
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities as part of the firm's pursuit strategy
- Qualify inbound website enquiries and campaign leads, ensuring systematic follow up and conversion
- Build and maintain a targeted pipeline of prospects, and book qualified meeting with nominated lawyers
- Leverage sales-enablement tools to surface buying signals, identify opportunities and trigger new campaign ideas
- Utilise data-driven insights to prioritise outreach and engagement
- Initiate and nurture relationships with key decision makers at target companies
- Track all sales activities and pipeline progress in Hub Spot, ensuring data integrity and best practice
- Follow up on booked sales meetings with internal stakeholders to improve lead quality and pursuit effectiveness
- Accurately report to your manager on activity and pipeline
- Demonstrate best practice in the use of CRM and other sales enablement technologies
Skills/Experience
The successful candidate will:
- Have 2-3 years of sales experience in a similar role
- Demonstrate proficiency with Hub Spot, Linked In Sales Navigator and other sales enablement technologies
- Possess clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
- Be capable of understanding client needs and challenges, and match legal solutions to deliver value
- Be proven in developing creative problem-solving approaches and possess strong analytical skills
- Be able to multi-task with strong organisational and project management skills
- Be passionate about fostering strong client and team relationships, and be highly motivated and hard working
- Have excellent time management and organisational skills, as well as the ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines
Contributing to Campaign Sales:
- Be seen as a role model across the Campaign Sales and BD team
- Uphold the standards, professionalism and strategic value delivered by the Campaign Sales team
- Assist the Campaign Sales team and Practice Groups in developing outreach strategies
- Support and lead the collaborative culture within the team
Offer training and coaching to team members on best practice, as well as share knowledge across the BD team and wider business
