Overview

We're now looking for a Sales & Events Manager to join the Paddington team and drive bookings, build relationships and deliver standout guest experiences from first enquiry through to post-event follow-up. This role is based in London and reports day-to-day to the General Manager, with strategic direction from the Sales & Marketing Director.

Responsibilities
  • Own and manage inbound and proactive sales enquiries
  • Build tailored proposals that maximise conversion and protect margin
  • Develop relationships with key bookers, local businesses, agencies and community partners
  • Proactively generate new leads through outreach, networking and local market activity
  • Plan events end-to-end, from requirements capture and logistics through to handover
  • Work closely with Operations, Marketing and our street food traders to ensure every event runs smoothly
  • Lead post-event follow-up to drive reviews, referrals and repeat bookings
  • Keep CRM data accurate and up to date in Collins, with clear forecasting and pipeline management
  • Help create commercial initiatives that drive bookings during quieter trading periods
  • Act as a visible ambassador for Market Halls in the local market
Qualifications
  • Experience in sales, events, hospitality or venue bookings
  • A strong track record of driving revenue and converting enquiries into confirmed business
  • Confidence building proposals, presenting pricing and spotting upsell opportunities
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Great organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities at once
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to business development and networking
  • Experience using a CRM system and maintaining accurate sales data
  • A collaborative mindset and a genuine passion for guest experience
