French Speaking Sales Engineer
Location:
North West London (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days remote)
Salary: £40,000 basic + £17,000 commission (OTE £57,000) + Excellent Benefits
OverviewOur client is a leading international supplier and distributor of technical engineering hardware, electronics, and technology solutions across the EMEA region. Known for delivering innovative and tailored technical solutions, they support a broad range of clients across multiple industries. They are seeking a French Speaking Sales Engineer to join their dynamic commercial team.
Responsibilities- Drive technical sales growth across French speaking markets within the EMEA region in a consultative, client facing role
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial lead generation through to closing deals
- Build, maintain, and manage a strong sales pipeline
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to support complex customer requirements
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, opportunities, and forecasts using the company CRM system
- Achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory
- Develop strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for account growth
- Fluent in both French and English (written and spoken)
- Degree educated or equivalent, ideally within business, sales, engineering, or a technical discipline
- Electrical or electronic engineering qualifications are highly advantageous
- Previous B2B sales experience within:
Inside sales, outbound calling, Lead generation, Telesales, Business development - Understanding of engineering, electronics, or technical product solutions
- Knowledge of electronic engineering equipment used for testing and measurement is advantageous
- Ability to manage the full sales cycle independently
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience selling technical solutions or products
- Competitive basic salary of £40,000
- Uncapped commission structure with realistic OTE of £57,000
- Commission guaranteed for the first 3 months
