As a Design Consultant at King Living, you will combine technical product expertise with a dedicated consultative approach. Based in our Kingston Showroom
, you will manage a consistent flow of premium retail and trade enquiries, requiring a high level of professional organisation and a commitment to following the customer journey from initial consultation through to post-delivery.
This is a sales-focused role suited to candidates with experience in retail, interior design, textiles or other customer-facing environments with transferable skills.

What do you do as a Design Consultant at King Living?- Establish and build customer relationships while delivering a high level of customer service, face to face or over the phone.
- Follow up on leads, quotes, and inquiries to convert opportunities into sales.
- Work collaboratively with the team to maximise sales during campaigns and promotions.
- Maintain showroom presentation to the highest standard in line with Visual Merchandising guidelines.
- Use in‑house systems to process and manage sales orders efficiently.
- Ensure all showroom areas are consistently maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation, in accordance with Centre of Excellence expectations.
- Proven experience in retail sales, textiles or interior design with a keen eye for detail.
- Confident communication skills.
- A passion for sales and a natural ability to build relationships with customers.
- A quick learner who can understand customer needs and respond with the right solutions.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills, including data entry.
- Comfortable standing for long periods, demonstrating products, and lifting up to 10 kg.
- Available for regular weekend work.
