Job DescriptionAs a Senior Presales Engineer, you will help drive our growth objectives while consulting closely with product, sales, and delivery teams to design solutions that can be delivered efficiently and with quality. You will apply your expertise and product knowledge to design scalable payment solutions for prospective partners, becoming a trusted advisor and influencing solutions to meet partner and internal needs.
YourMission
- Present our products and vision to executives & technical teams at banks and strategic enterprise partners.
- Be accountable to drive revenue alongside the business development team, and be a key stakeholder in the sales process from discovery and solution design through to implementation kickoff.
- Utilise a deep understanding of Wise Platform products and the payments domain to tailor solutions for partners.
- Work on sales collateral, demos, proof of concepts, RFPs, and other material to help close potential deals.
- Ensure the viability of solutions by testing and documenting end‑to‑end solutions.
- Share customer feedback to product teams to drive roadmaps and growth opportunities.
- Scope and design payments partnerships with the world’s biggest banks and enterprises.
- Work with bank sales teams to grow Wise Platform’s presence in EMEA.
- Act as the voice of our customers to influence roadmaps and feature prioritisation.
- Travel to meet with prospects around the region.
- 3+ years of experience in a presales or sales engineering role in enterprise technology sales (preferably in fintech or payments).
- Proven track record achieving commercial targets by leveraging consultative and solution‑based sales skills.
- Customer‑centric mindset and ability to solve problems using our products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts.
- Effective collaboration experience within or alongside financial institutions.
- Understanding of balancing customer needs and communicating requirements to product teams.
- Experience with REST APIs, SWIFT, local payment networks in a technical sales context.
