Capital Group is seeking an experienced ETF professional to serve as the lead ETF sales specialist for Europe, partnering closely with the Europe & Asia ETF Leader, regional sales teams, product teams, and global ETF leadership.
Responsibilities- Serve as the lead ETF sales specialist for Europe, acting as the regional subject matter expert across client-facing teams and management.
- Partner closely with the Europe & Asia ETF Leader to execute the regional ETF growth strategy and commercial priorities.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities, accelerate ETF adoption, and drive asset growth across priority client segments.
- Work with product, marketing, capital markets, and global ETF leadership to ensure strong ETF positioning, coordinated execution, and effective go-to-market delivery.
- Equip client-facing teams with ETF expertise through tailored training, education, and ongoing sales enablement.
- Support strategic client engagement by positioning ETF capabilities and solutions with key clients and prospects.
- Provide market intelligence on client demand, competitive developments, distribution trends, and broader ETF ecosystem dynamics.
- Partner with US ETF specialists to leverage resources and materials across both regions, strengthening global scale and consistency.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in ETFs, asset management distribution, or ETF sales, product strategy, capital markets, or related commercial roles.
- Deep understanding of the European ETF ecosystem, including market structure, distribution channels, client segments, and competitive dynamics.
- Passion for ETFs and the ability to articulate their evolving role in client portfolios.
- Experience partnering closely with sales teams in a commercial, client-facing environment.
- Strong knowledge of ETF market structure, product positioning, and commercial growth drivers.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to translate ETF concepts clearly for a broad range of stakeholders.
- Ability to operate effectively within a matrixed, highly collaborative organization.
- Commercially minded, self-motivated, and comfortable operating in a dynamic growth environment.
- Bachelor’s degree and CFA or other relevant professional qualifications is a plus.
- Willingness to travel across the region as required.
