Requirements

  • Some experience in a customer-facing or sales role — internships, retail, or hospitality count if you can show you know how to build rapport and drive outcomes
  • A hunter mentality, you’re not waiting to be handed leads, you go and find them
  • High coachability, you take feedback well, apply it fast, and ask for more
  • Strong communicator, clear and confident in writing and on a call
  • Genuine curiosity about technology - you don’t need to be an engineer, but you want to understand what Kong does and why it matters
  • Languages:

    Fluency in Dutch is essential

  • As a Commercial Outbound ADR, you’ll identify and qualify new business opportunities across the EMEA commercial segment, working closely with our Sales and Marketing teams
  • This isn’t just a job, it’s the best way to fast-track a long career in tech sales
  • We invest heavily in our people: a 4‑week sales bootcamp, weekly 1‑1 mentorship, continuous training throughout your tenure, and a leadership team that actually gets in the trenches with you
  • Build and run outbound campaigns end‑to‑end, from idea to qualified meeting
  • Engage decision‑makers across phone, email, Linked In, and video
  • Partner closely with AEs and Marketing, you’re a connector, not just a top‑of‑funnel rep
  • Keep Salesforce clean and your pipeline tighter, process matters here
  • Utilise AI to boost productivity, work at pace and personalise your messaging
  • Invest in your own development, your manager will meet you where you are and help you get to what’s next
  • Your first 90 days:
  • Month 1:
    Meet your team, complete bootcamp, and fall in love with what Kong actually does
  • Month 2:
    Pick up the phone with confidence, master our tech stach (Nooks, Claude, Gemini, Sumble, Lusha etc) and work your first live opportunity, and hit your ramp quota
  • Month 3:
    Own your funnel, share what’s working, and what needs optimisation
