Requirements
- Some experience in a customer-facing or sales role — internships, retail, or hospitality count if you can show you know how to build rapport and drive outcomes
- A hunter mentality, you’re not waiting to be handed leads, you go and find them
- High coachability, you take feedback well, apply it fast, and ask for more
- Strong communicator, clear and confident in writing and on a call
- Genuine curiosity about technology - you don’t need to be an engineer, but you want to understand what Kong does and why it matters

- As a Commercial Outbound ADR, you’ll identify and qualify new business opportunities across the EMEA commercial segment, working closely with our Sales and Marketing teams

- Partner closely with AEs and Marketing, you’re a connector, not just a top‑of‑funnel rep
- Keep Salesforce clean and your pipeline tighter, process matters here
- Utilise AI to boost productivity, work at pace and personalise your messaging
- Invest in your own development, your manager will meet you where you are and help you get to what’s next
- Your first 90 days:
- Month 1:
Meet your team, complete bootcamp, and fall in love with what Kong actually does - Month 2:
Pick up the phone with confidence, master our tech stach (Nooks, Claude, Gemini, Sumble, Lusha etc) and work your first live opportunity, and hit your ramp quota - Month 3:
Own your funnel, share what’s working, and what needs optimisation
