We are looking for an Internal Sales Representative to join our Customer Service Team in Wigan. This role is an extension to our Sales team and will have a dotted line into the Divisional Sales Director. Responsible for managing a database of existing clients to upsell/cross‑sell our products ensuring customer retention, satisfaction and growth.
Duties- Proactively contacting customers to secure sales, upsell and build first‑class relationships.
- Managing and following up on warm inbound leads, contacting those potential customers who have expressed an interest in the company’s offering.
- Proactive lead generation, cultivating cold leads through research and collaboration with the Regional Sales Managers and developing them into warm, qualified leads. Disseminating to field sales representatives with defined actionable activity through
- Contacting customer accounts that are stale or churning to generate interest and potential orders.
- Collaborating with the Business Operations team on the Slow Moving and Obsolete materials to identify upselling opportunities.
- CRM and Record Keeping, utilizing the CRM software to log customer interactions, manage leads, and maintain accurate sales records.
- Experience with in Sales and Customer Service environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, SAP & Salesforce.
- Construction background or an understanding of the construction industry is preferable but not essential.
