About the employer:
This gorgeous luxury independent hotel in central London boasts extensive, state
-of-the-art event space, stylish bedrooms, a fine dining restaurant and bar and dedicated fitness room. The M&E Sales Manager role is responsible for proactively generating enquiries for events and passing to the reactive event sales team. Part of the proactive sales team, this position reports into the Assistant Director of Sales at the hotel.
About the role
- The Meeting & Event Sales Manager will proactively identify, source and target MICE and Events business for the hotel.
- Generate enquiries from local corporate clients and MICE agents and venue sourcing platforms.
- Work closely with the reactive event sales team to convert high-value enquiries.
- Develop relationships with key clients and agents to ensure repeat business.
- Hold site visits and client visits as required.
- Produce event activity reports and forecasts as required.
What we are looking for
- Proactive hotel MICE sales experience is essential.
