Location: Office-based Hybrid | London

Why this role

More homeowners than ever are rethinking how they heat their homes. Rising energy costs, carbon reduction goals and government support are pushing air source heat pumps into the mainstream, but customers still need clear, honest guidance before they make the switch.

As a Sales Executive, you’ll be the trusted advisor who helps people move away from fossil-fuel heating and towards lower-carbon, lower-cost home energy systems. You’ll join a scaling renewable energy business with strong inbound demand, a growing national footprint and a clear commitment to ethical, value-based selling.

What you’ll do

You’ll manage the full sales cycle from first contact to contract close, working with warm inbound leads and referrals. Your role is to understand each customer’s property, heating system, energy usage, budget and long-term goals, then guide them towards the right air source heat pump solution.

Using Spruce heating designs, you’ll present clear proposals, quotations and running-cost or payback assessments that customers can easily understand. You’ll explain heat loss, system sizing, flow temperatures, grant eligibility and the Boiler Upgrade Scheme in plain English, building confidence without pressure.

You’ll maintain accurate Hub Spot records, forecast your pipeline, collaborate with technical, survey and installation teams, and ensure every signed deal is cleanly handed over for delivery.

About the company

The business is an ambitious UK renewable energy group bringing together respected regional installers under one digitally enabled platform. It combines the pace of a scale-up with the practical expertise of established installation teams, all focused on helping customers transition to smarter, cleaner energy.

About you

You’ll have a strong consultative sales background, ideally in domestic heating, renewables or energy services, with the communication skills to make technical information feel simple and relevant. You’ll be confident presenting, negotiating and closing, while keeping the customer’s best interests at the centre of every conversation.

Experience in air source heat pumps, low-carbon heating, solar, home energy, sustainability or retrofit would be a strong advantage. Familiarity with Spruce, Hub Spot, MCS standards, heat-loss principles or the Boiler Upgrade Scheme would also help you hit the ground running.

Rewards & growth

You’ll step into a role with serious earning potential, warm leads, a strategic growth product and close support from sales, marketing, technical and operations teams. It’s a chance to build your career in ASHP sales while helping customers make decisions that reduce cost, carbon and long-term heating risk.
