The Opportunity

A high‑growth fintech organisation is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Director of Sales to lead the next phase of revenue growth across the UK market. This role offers the chance to join a scaling business at a pivotal stage of its journey, with strong investment backing, a high‑performing product suite, and ambitious expansion plans across financial services and embedded technology solutions.

London | Hybrid

Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, the Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the commercial sales strategy, leading and scaling a high‑performing sales function, and driving sustainable revenue growth.

The successful candidate will combine strategic leadership with hands‑on execution and thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver the overall sales strategy aligned to company growth objectives
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a successful sales team across new business and account growth
  • Build and manage a strong enterprise sales pipeline within fintech, payments, SaaS, or financial services
  • Establish scalable sales processes, forecasting, and performance metrics
  • Partner cross‑functionally with marketing, product, customer success, and leadership teams
  • Drive commercial negotiations and close high‑value strategic partnerships
  • Identify new market opportunities and expansion strategies
  • Report on sales performance, revenue forecasting, and market insights to senior stakeholders
Experience Required
  • Proven track record in a senior sales leadership role within fintech, SaaS, payments, or financial services
  • Strong experience scaling B2B sales teams in high‑growth environments
  • Demonstrable success delivering against ambitious revenue targets
  • Expertise in enterprise and strategic sales
  • Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
  • Data‑driven and highly analytical approach to sales performance
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate both strategically and operationally
