£30,000 – £40,000 + bonus + commission

The Role

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone early in their sales career who is ready to take a real step forward. You’ll be joining a driven, ambitious sales team and taking ownership of a portfolio of retail accounts — learning the craft of account management in an environment that will stretch and support you in equal measure.

We’re not looking for someone who has done it all before. We’re looking for someone with a genuine passion for consumer products, a commercial instinct, and the attitude and hunger to grow into an exceptional account manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and manage a portfolio of retail accounts, building strong day-to-day relationships with buyers
  • Work towards sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business
  • Assist with range reviews, product launches and seasonal planning
  • Collaborate with internal teams on orders, forecasting and ensuring a brilliant customer experience
  • Keep customer records and systems accurate and up to date
  • Attend trade shows, customer meetings and industry events
  • Build your knowledge of the market, feeding back trends and competitor activity to the wider team
What We’re Looking For
  • Some experience in a sales or account management role, ideally selling consumer products into retail
  • A genuine love of product – whether that’s gifting, lifestyle, home, stationery or anything in that world
  • Commercial curiosity – you spot opportunities, ask good questions and want to understand what makes a business tick
  • A natural communicator who builds rapport easily and follows through on what they say
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple things at once without dropping the ball
  • Comfortable with Excel and Microsoft Office at a basic level – happy to learn more
  • Positive, resilient and hungry to develop – someone who sees feedback as fuel
