Position: Account Executive (Mid-Market)
Location: Greater London

Responsibilities

  • Driving new business growth across Enterprise and Mid-Market accounts - both independently and alongside an SDR
  • Prospecting, cold calling, account research, and proactive outreach to clients to establish rapport and set up meetings
  • Conducting insightful discovery conversations that uncover company-wide pain and align Powtoon’s value to measurable outcomes
  • Working inbound and outbound opportunities, partnering closely with SDRs to generate and progress pipeline
  • Developing quotes and proposals
  • Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
  • Selling Powtoon’s AI-powered video platform into stakeholders across L&D, HR, Internal Comms, Marketing and Sales Enablement
  • Meet and exceed quota—because you’re obsessed with it
Qualifications
  • Listener-first mindset with the ability to challenge, inspire, and help buyers reimagine their future with Powtoon.
  • Master of consultative selling, value articulation, and storytelling.
  • A true hunter with a track record of success in highly competitive markets.
  • Someone that loves being in front of customers and helping solve problems they care about.
  • Comfortable collaborating with an SDR but equally motivated to self-source leads.
  • Prior experience selling into L&D or HR teams is a big plus.
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas- MUST
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in an online software/tech company- MUST
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Native-level English speaker
    - Must
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience with CRM software - (e.g. Hub Spot, Salesforce)- MUST
  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant experience highly sought
  • Substantial experience in a b2b - outbound sales - MUST
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
  • Experience working with US clients - MUST
  • Hands‑on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
    -MUST
  • Ability to analyze spreadsheets and charts very helpful
  • Experience with Linked In Sales Navigator and/or LeadIQ - MUST
  • Familiarity with the Powtoon visual communication platform a HUGE plus
