Role Overview
New Business Manager to lead our growth strategy by identifying, developing, and securing new commercial cleaning contracts across London and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for a results-oriented individual with strong industry knowledge and a proven track record in sales within the cleaning sector.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
- Generate leads through networking, cold outreach, referrals, and industry events
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, tenders, and presentations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients
- Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with company objectives
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity using CRM systems
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar New Business / Business Development role within the commercial cleaning industry
- Proven track record of winning new business and meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of cleaning contracts, pricing models, and service delivery
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
- Fully eligible to work in the UK without VISA sponsorship is essential.
- Existing network of contacts within facilities management or commercial property sectors
- Experience responding to tenders and large-scale contract bids
- Knowledge of London commercial market
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monthly and quarterly revenue targets
- Number of new contracts secured
